I’m originally from Mexico and have been based in Bristol for over a decade. Before moving into floristry full-time, I worked in events and operations, most recently as Head of Events at Science Creates. During my time there, I delivered nearly 300 events, including conferences, launches, investor meetings, and a royal visit.

Floristry came later, as a deliberate shift towards more hands-on, creative work. I trained formally and built Felisa as a founder-led floristry practice focused on colour, intention, and practical creativity.

I work with flowers to shape atmosphere rather than decoration. My approach is grounded and flexible — responding to the space, the occasion, and the budget, and making considered choices with what’s available.

I’m comfortable working within limits and see them as part of the process, not a compromise.

Felisa is a small practice.

I take on work selectively, prioritising thoughtful projects over volume, and staying close to the craft.
