About Me, Edda
Floral Design for Brands That Care About Space, Story, and Emotion
I'm Edda — founder of Felisa Flowers & Events, a floral design studio in Bristol focused on helping businesses create spaces that feel as good as they look.
I’m not a traditional florist.
Before starting Felisa, I was Head of Events at Science Creates, managing nearly 300 corporate events. I understand what makes an event work — from branding to logistics to atmosphere. Now, I use flowers as a strategic design tool to help companies communicate who they are.

I’m a big believer that people work with people.
Not logos, not buzzwords, real, brilliant, messy humans.
So, this is me, no fluff.
I care deeply about how spaces feel. Not just how they look.
That’s why I don’t do one-size-fits-all arrangements or Pinterest copies. I design florals that reflect your brand’s personality, your audience, and the message you want to send — whether it’s trust, celebration, creativity, or calm.
People don’t connect with logos. They connect with feeling.
That’s what flowers can do — when they’re done right.
If we’re going to create magic together, it’s got to be a two-way thing.I’d love to get to know you too.
WHO I AM

My Story:
From B2B Events in Mexico to Brand Styling with Flowers in Bristol
I moved from sunny Mexico to Bristol over 10 years ago; swapping sandals for soggy socks and jumping into a completely new life.
Back home, I had a career in B2B marketing and had already run a few businesses.
I’ve always known I was meant to build something of my own. But starting again in a new country, with no network and a different language? That took time.
I did a bit of everything; hospitality, admin, event support — until I landed a job at a Bristol startup called Science Creates. That changed everything.
I became Head of Events, managing nearly 300 corporate events; launches, panels, conferences, investor meetings, the lot.
I loved it. But the dream of creating my own thing?
That never really left.
So one day, I showed up at an open day at City of Bristol College; not by accident, but because I was looking for something that felt like mine. I’d been juggling work, planning events, dreaming of something more creative, and honestly... I needed a sign.
Then Victoria, the tutor, stood at the front and said:
“This isn’t a hobby course. This is for people who want to start a business.”
And I thought: Yep. That’s me.
That was the moment.
I took everything I knew; business, events, branding, people; and built Felisa Flowers & Events from scratch.
No loans. No roadmap. Just grit, creativity, and big belief.

Corporate Flowers Need a Different Approach
-
Most florists are trained in retail, weddings, and personal flowers.
-
They’re brilliant at bouquets — but corporate events are a different game.
-
When you work with me, you work with someone who’s been on the inside.
-
I’ve planned over 300 events as Head of Events. I know how companies think — and what guests actually notice.
-
I understand brand tone, messaging, and visual identity.
-
I design with strategy, not just style — using tools like AI mockups and concept visuals, so you know exactly what you're getting before a single stem is placed.
-
I create florals that reflect your business goals, not just fill a vase.
-
This isn’t a shop.
-
It’s a design studio, run by someone who gets what it takes to make an event feel right.
-
I’m Edda — and this is floral design with a brain and a bit of boldness.
